It uses metal ions and phosphates produced by calcium salt and iron salt to form insoluble phosphate precipitation, so as to remove phosphorus from wastewater. Besides, biological methods can also effectively remove phosphorus from wastewater. Biological method refers to phosphorus based bacteria, under aerobic and anaerobic conditions, alternate to achieve the removal of phosphorus in wastewater.
