High-efficiency motor series from GOORUI now consistently available in efficiency class IE4 with UL Certification
Since economic progress is inextricably linked to energy, resource shortages and pollution have become global challenges. With the global energy issue becoming increasingly visible, all governments throughout the world are actively supporting energy plans. The environment has been gravely harmed as a result of coexisting with a high level of material civilization, and air pollution has greatly jeopardized people’s bodily and mental health. According to this concept, it is critical to creating new ecologically friendly and energy-saving energy sources. GOORUI has launched innovative IE4 / high-efficiency motors with UL certification, offering a new industry model of high quality, efficiency, stability, and flexibility.
The motors are extensively used at different levels. The motors are classified on the basis of their efficiency levels as per the International Efficiency 60034-30-1. On the basis of the efficiency levels, the motors are classified into 4 categories which are IE1, IE2, IE3, and IE4. The IE1 motors lie in the Standard Efficiency range. The IE2 motors lie in the High-Efficiency range. The IE3 motors lie in the Premium Efficiency range and the IE4 motors lie in the Super Premium Efficiency range. The efficiency range of each motor shows that the efficiency of the next series is better than the previous series.
What is UL Certification and Why is it Important?
UL stands for Underwriter Laboratories, a third-party certification company that’s been around for over a century. UL was founded in 1894 in Chicago. They certify products with the aim to make the world a safer place for both workers and consumers. Besides testing, they set industry standards to follow when innovating new products. Last year alone, about 14 billion products with the UL seal entered the global marketplace.
In a nutshell, UL is a safety organization that sets industry-wide standards on new products. They continually check these products to ensure they’re up to these standards. UL testing makes sure that wire sizes are correct or devices can handle the amount of current they claim to be able to. They also ensure that products are constructed correctly for the highest safety.
UL certification affects us in our daily lives, often to a great extent, without most of us really knowing it. UL has been established for 125 years to ensure the safety and accountability of electrical products in everyday life in North America.
Just because a product is not UL recognized and tested does not mean it will spontaneously ignite. This simply means that its performance and safety have not been independently tested and verified to meet these safety standards.
Obtaining UL certification is important because it demonstrates the competence of manufacturers and service providers. Consumers want to know if the products they buy have been tested and meet safety standards. UL certification also indicates that the company complies with all North American environmental regulations.
The difference between CE and UL
CE is also known as Conformité Européenne, which means “European Conformity” in French.
CE is similar to UL, but applies to products sold in the European Union. Unlike UL, some products require CE marking, such as medical devices, gas appliances, machinery, etc.
Checking for UL certification is one of the best ways to review a product. Employees have peace of mind knowing they are using safe components, and customers can rest easy knowing that their products have been thoroughly tested.
