When selecting a side channel blower, it is important to choose a model that can achieve air flow and compression/vacuum comfortably within its performance curve.
The below performance curve demonstrates vacuum and compression capabilities at 75m³/h airflow:
The 2.2kW model is suitable for this flow rate and can withstand a maximum 240mbar pressure.
The 1.6kW model would achieve the 75m³/h airflow, however, the maximum pressure is reduced to 195mbar compared to a compression set-up and will generate more heat working close to the design limit and therefore a 2.2kW options would offer a better solution for most applications.

There are many factors that we consider when selecting a side channel blower due to the different variations for different applications. Some of the questions that we must consider are:
1. Do you require a vacuum form or pressure form?
2. Will it be high or low vacuum/pressure?
3. Do you require high or low airflow?
4. Are you looking for a single-stage or two-stage blower unit?

A good place to start to determine the optimal working point is by using Goorui’s performance graph. But of course, our technical team is available to work through your side channel blower needs and determine a suitable setup to overcome your challenges.

At GOORUI, we work hard to ensure you get the best performance and reliability for your application. If your business depends on quality performance from air technology equipment, then come and talk to GOORUI to find out more about our air technology services and solutions. Please contact us for the technical datasheet/drawings and to discuss suitability for your application.

Our blower has been widely used to replace other brands throughout the world. If possible, we could quote the model based on your specific needs(airflow, pressure, vacuum).
