An anti-corrosive and explosion-proof high-pressure blower is an industrial ventilation and air-moving device built to handle hazardous, flammable, or chemically aggressive environments without risking ignition or structural breakdown.
The anti-corrosion and explosion-proof high-pressure blower is mainly used for: gas transportation, biogas transportation, gas transportation, transportation of flammable and explosive gases, ventilation and exhaust, in chemical plants, coal mines, glass industries, fireworks and firecrackers, special places, pharmaceutical factories, dust, biogas transportation, flammable and explosive places, and as a supporting device for various mechanical equipment.
Key Features & Construction
• Explosion-Proof / ATEX Certification: Equipped with specialized motors (such as ATEX-certified or flameproof models) and gas-tight structures to safely operate in explosive zones (e.g., Zones 1, 2, and 22 for gases or biogas).
• Anti-Corrosive Materials: Uses spark-proof aluminum alloys (like ADC12 with special protective coatings), stainless steel components (such as stainless steel rotor spindles), or full thermoplastic/polypropylene builds to resist acid and chemical fumes.
• Oil-Free & Maintenance-Free: Operates completely without operating fluids or internal lubrication, preventing process gas contamination and reducing wear via non-contact impellers and sealed-for-life bearings.
• Safety & Monitoring: Frequently integrated with thermal sensors like PTC thermistors for temperature monitoring, IP55 (or higher) electrical protection, and reinforced shaft/oil seals.
Do you require explosion protection?
In more and more application areas, protecting blowers against explosions is an indispensable prerequisite. Numerous dusts and gases that are being conveyed are already in a highly explosive original state, while others develop this characteristic after being pre-mixed with additional media. Just a little spark can have unforeseeable and disastrous consequences. Our ATEX blowers are designed precisely for such highly sensitive conditions.
Aside from many other application areas, our ATEX blowers are in use in the chemical industry, in mills, biogas plants, landfills, sewage plants, flour storage facilities as well as food processing. They ensure the safe transport of explosive dusts and gases of all kinds.
ATEX, RoHS AND CE CERTIFICATIONS
When a product is destined to be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere due to the presence of gas or dust, if installed in a member country of the European Union, it must necessarily be certified according to the ATEX (ATmosphéres EXplosible) directive, regardless of where it has been manufactured.
The certified products must have a CE marking plate, specific marking of protection against explosions (Epsilon-x, in the hexagon) followed by group (I or II) and category; for group II the letter G is added for gas equipment while those for dust are identified by the letter D (Dust).
The EU RoHS regulation concerns restrictions on the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, in order to protect human health and environment; it also establishes the modalities for waste disposal and ecologically correct recovery.
The established constraints concern the following substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers. Our side channel blowers are all ATEX, CE and RoHS certified.
